1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using theStudyLab ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

• Users under 18 must have a parent or guardian review and agree to these Terms.
• Users under 13 may only use the Service with verified parental consent or authorization from their school.

3. AI mentors are study support

Mira, Jules and Eli are AI study companions. They are not accredited teachers and do not replace your school curriculum or instructor. AI can make mistakes, so check important answers with a teacher or trusted source.

4. Academic integrity

The Service is designed to guide your thinking, not do your work. You are responsible for following your school's rules on homework, tests and AI use.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you create or upload (scratchpad work, worksheets, chat messages). You grant theStudyLab a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and process that content to run and improve the Service, and to use it in de-identified, aggregated form for educational research and product quality.

6. Acceptable use

• No harmful, hateful, or illegal content.
• No uploads you do not have the right to share.
• No photos of sensitive documents such as IDs or medical records.
• No attempts to hack, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service, and no spam.

7. Accounts and termination

Keep your login secure. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, theStudyLab is not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
